When creating this animation I wanted to bring all the wonder and excitement seen when watching Winnie the Pooh. By having a similar drawing style within the bee hive illustration, but also having the yellow, orange, and pink within the text to correspond with the three most famous characters (Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet). Along side their famous theme song, I bring to life the wonder of the Winnie the Pooh stories in a different format.
When creating this animation I was assigned to pick a fun fact and create an exciting way to showcase that fact. After choosing the fact involving the grandfather clock, I wanted to showcase every inch of the grandfather clock and intertwine it with the fact to keep things interesting. Making a fun fact and turning it into a creative animation.
This animation was assigned to allow us to gain skills in movie promotion advertising as well as Kinetic text animation. Since I have always been a fan of Disney I jumped on the chance to showcase my skills with a quote from the famous Finding Nemo movie. I aimed to bring the exciting and joyful sense of the movie into a Kinetic animation.
As one of my final projects within my program, we are assigned Design 4 Change. A campaign project allows us skills in working with a live client and this year we were assigned to work with Fanshawe College's Oral Health and Wellness Clinic. As one component we were assigned to create explainer videos. This animation is showcasing the services, facts, overall feeling, and contact info for their dental department.
