As a part of the Capstone project I’ve been involved in, I was asked to create logos, wall details, way-finding, and social media campaigns that promote the School of Health Sciences at Fanshawe College. When creating the logo design concepts, I took the circles from the pre-existing Mend logo and found ways to incorporate them into the other alternative logos. Since Mend had the feature name within its logo I also wanted to add a feature word for the other departments as well. A word that I thought best describes what the program/service can do for their customers. Mend, Align, and Restore.  I also wanted to carry the dots featured in the logos and carry them into the way-finding and wall designs featured throughout the space of  A1001. Another component that ties in well with the featured dots is the most viewable form of way-finding. Having the coloured dots lead to the corresponding coloured lines, which then lead the patient throughout the clinic, each line leading the patient to rooms that match the coloured line. Giving the clinic a cohesive design throughout their shared A 1001 space.
